Terms of Service

Effective Date: November 1, 2024

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the relationship between Deorot (hereinafter "Company") and users regarding the use of the mobile wedding invitation platform Intome (hereinafter "Service"), including the rights, duties, responsibilities, and other necessary matters.

2. Definitions

The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:

  • "Service" refers to the mobile wedding invitation platform Intome provided by the Company.
  • "User/Member" refers to a person who has entered into a service agreement and has been assigned an ID.
  • "Non-member" refers to a person who uses the Service without registering.
  • "Service Agreement" refers to a contract concluded with the Company for the use of the Service, having the same meaning as membership registration.
  • "Termination" refers to the termination of the service agreement, equivalent to membership withdrawal.
  • "Template" refers to pre-made content provided by the Company that can be modified through the editor.
  • "Rendering" refers to the process and result of creating templates through the editor.
  • "Watermark" refers to marks such as the Company's logo displayed on content for copyright protection.

3. Posting and Revision of Terms

The Company posts these Terms on the initial screen of the Service so that users can easily access them. The Company may revise these Terms within the scope that does not violate relevant laws.

When revising these Terms, the Company shall announce the effective date and the reasons for the revision, along with the current Terms, on the initial screen of the Service from 7 days before the effective date until the day before. However, if the Terms are changed unfavorably to users, a minimum notice period of 30 days shall be provided.

4. Provision and Modification of Services

The Company provides the following services:

  • Mobile wedding invitation creation and management service
  • Wedding-related information service
  • Other services determined by the Company

The Company may change the content and method of service provision, and in such cases, will announce the changed service content and provision date.

5. Service Interruption

The Company may temporarily suspend service provision in the following cases:

  • Unavoidable circumstances due to facility maintenance
  • When telecommunications carriers regulated by the Telecommunications Business Act suspend telecommunications services
  • Other force majeure circumstances

The Company shall provide prior notice of temporary service suspension, and if prior notice is not possible, shall provide notice afterwards.

6. Technical Requirements for Service Use

The Company provides the Service subject to meeting the following 'Service Requirements'. The Company is not responsible for service usage issues caused by failure to meet these requirements.

Service Requirements:

  • Computer (PC)
    • - Operating System: Windows 7 or higher
    • - Web Browser: Chrome Browser
    • - Memory: 8GB or more
    • - Operating system and web browser: Keep up to date
  • Internet
    • - Network Speed: Minimum 100Mbps

7. Membership Registration

Users apply for membership by filling in member information according to the registration form set by the Company and expressing consent to these Terms. The Company registers applicants as members unless they fall under any of the following:

  • When the applicant has previously lost membership status under these Terms
  • When there is false information, omission, or error in the registration
  • When registration is deemed to significantly impair the Company's technical operations

8. Membership Withdrawal and Disqualification

Members may request withdrawal at any time, and the Company shall process the withdrawal immediately. The Company may restrict or suspend membership in the following cases:

  • When false information is provided during registration
  • When using the Service to violate laws or these Terms, or to act against public order and morals
  • When continued membership is deemed inappropriate

9. Privacy Protection

The Company strives to protect users' personal information in accordance with relevant laws. The protection and use of personal information are governed by relevant laws and the Company's Privacy Policy.

10. User Obligations

Users shall not engage in the following activities:

  • Registering false information during application or changes
  • Stealing others' information
  • Altering information posted by the Company
  • Transmitting or posting information (computer programs, etc.) other than information specified by the Company
  • Using the Service for purposes other than its intended purpose without the Company's explicit consent
  • Obtaining paid member rights through abnormal methods
  • Other illegal or improper activities

11. Copyright Ownership and Usage Restrictions

Copyright and other intellectual property rights for works created by the Company belong to the Company. Users shall not commercially use or allow third parties to use information obtained through the Service by reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or other methods without the Company's prior consent.

12. Dispute Resolution

The Company establishes and operates a damage compensation handling organization to reflect legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users and to handle damage compensation. The Company promptly handles complaints and opinions submitted by users. However, if prompt handling is difficult, the Company shall immediately notify the user of the reason and processing schedule.

13. Payment Cancellation and Refund

The Company provides payment cancellation and refunds in the following cases:

  • If there is no sharing history of the mobile wedding invitation, cancellation (contract termination) may be requested within 7 days from the date of paid service purchase (watermark removal).
  • If the Service is suspended or fails for more than 3 days without 24-hour prior notice, or if cumulative service suspension/failure time exceeds 72 hours within one month
  • If pre-announced service suspension/failure time due to server maintenance exceeds 10 hours, the service period will be extended free of charge for the excess time.

Refunds are excluded in the following cases:

  • When a minor makes payment by stealing another person's information
  • When purchased through events or free coupons
  • When falling under withdrawal restriction reasons prescribed by relevant laws such as the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Content Industry Promotion Act, and Content User Protection Guidelines
  • When the Service fails or is suspended due to natural disasters or user negligence
  • When payment is made through illegal methods

14. Template Management

The Company may delete, move, or refuse to register the following content or posts without prior notice:

  • Content that defames others
  • Content that violates the Youth Protection Act
  • Content related to illegal copying or hacking
  • Content related to crime
  • Content that infringes copyright
  • Other content that violates laws

Content Retention Period:

  • Mobile Invitation: 31 days from the wedding date

15. Disclaimer

The Company is exempt from liability for service interruption or damages caused by the following:

  • Force majeure such as natural disasters, war, and similar circumstances
  • Suspension or failure of telecommunications services by telecommunications carriers
  • Unavoidable circumstances such as maintenance, replacement, regular inspection, or construction of service facilities
  • Service usage disruption due to member's fault
  • Damages due to member's computer error or incomplete personal information
  • Materials obtained by members during service use or damages caused by other members
  • Reliability and accuracy of templates, content, and posts registered in the Service
  • Copyright infringement issues of content registered by members
  • Service-related disputes between users or between users and third parties
  • Loss of work due to hardware and software errors
  • Data loss and business interruption due to service or communication failures

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The laws of the Republic of Korea shall apply to the interpretation of these Terms and disputes between the Company and users. If a lawsuit is filed regarding disputes arising during service use, it shall be filed with the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
